Graduation Day
I
hope all college students know the importance of graduation day. After all, we
come to college to get the degree and it is at last given on the graduation
day. Graduation
is getting a diploma or academic degree or the ceremony that is sometimes
associated with it, in which students become graduates. The date of graduation
is called graduation day.
All those who experienced graduation day know how it feel. The
day of graduation means; the day when we are finally called ourselves as
graduates, the day when we have a degree in our hand, the day when we are out
of college. So, let me tell you how our life will be before/after graduation day.
Following are some of the expressions we will
feel on the graduation day.
1. Fear
On
graduation morning, you will start to think about the ceremony itself and
knowing that they will call your name and you have to get up on stage and get
your degree in front of hundreds of people. Pretty scary, isn't it? Just don't
fall.
2. Excitement
On the graduation
day, you will be excited that you are getting a degree.
3. Sadness
Once you arrive at
graduation, you start hugging all your friends, talking about how it's going to
be the last time we are all together. Some, or maybe even all, of your friends
are going far away from college and you, that is pretty upsetting.
4. Happy
You will happy that
at last your hard work paid off. You are getting a degree and now you can find
a job for yourself.
5. Boredom
Graduation ceremonies
can get pretty boring (depending on how long the speeches are). There will
always be that one random man that nobody knows giving a speech that is two
hours long (at least that's how it feels.) So make sure you don't fall asleep.
6. Relief
Probably
the biggest thing you will feel during the whole graduation process is relief.
No more stressing about grades and drama with friends.
Here are the things that
cross all our minds after becoming college graduates.
1. We catch
ourselves thinking, “When I go back to college in the fall...”
I think this is the biggest realization that has
yet to sink in. When people start going back in the fall, I think we will
really understand college has ended.
2. We realize
we no longer get student benefits.
We no longer qualify at the gym, at the movies or wherever else it’s beneficial to be a student. We will realize that we are no longer student to have the student’s ID.

3. We feel
like we have no friends because everyone is so spread out now.We used to be able to just run next door to
borrow a shirt or chat, but now, our closest friends live in different cities.
We’ll likely never all be in such a close proximity again, and it’s depressing,
really.
4.
We have to behave like adults
As we are out of
college, we have to behave like adults like wearing formals, getting early in
the morning, doing work without fail for job; otherwise we will be fired.
And, now I hope you
people finally come to know how it feel. If you are graduate student, your
graduation day will come like a flashback and if you are a student still studying in college, then you
will be excited to know, how your graduation day will be. Isn’t it?
